<image:title>Projects - Modern Love</image:title>
<image:caption>Director: Nicolas Beauchemin Cinematographer: Anthony Cloutier Modern Love is the first short me and Nicolas produced and shot together. Nic wrote the story and coming out of cinema studies in 2013, this was our first professional attemp at creating something from scratch. Nic wrote the story and I was in charge of the photography. The concept of conversing through text messages through the movie made for an interesting shoot, being used to spoken dialogues between actors. Fun Fact: Nic was actually texting the actors the real conversations we see on screen, to match the timing! Being helped by our close friends has crew members, this project was a blast and helped us to make our world premiere at the 40th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF 40). What an experience! It also went on to the Pittsburg Shorts and DC shorts film festival.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - VBNxSDM</image:title>
<image:caption>There’s always a bit of apprehension the first time you get to shoot a new sport. This project was my first time shooting Mountain Bikes flying down the hill, and being a creative project for myself, the pressure was on to create something i’ll be proud to show. I was more than happy to have my friend Keven St-Pierre, fellow cinematographer, volunteer to ride (and being good at it). With two amazing location available to shoot, Sentiers du moulin & Vallée Bras-du-Nord, we had the best playground to make something great. Small insight, all the flash/freeze frames in the final edit are actual 35mm film pictures that i took the day of shooting. The lens flares are also part of the actual picture, because my camera body was opened up slightly during the whole shoot, adding so much to those still frames!</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Canadian Rally Championship</image:title>
<image:caption>Producer: Warwick Patterson - Formula Photographic Director: Christopher Bowes - Bowes Media Inc. Work executed on this show over the years: Editor, graphic animator, onboard camera manager, on-site media team manager and cinematographer. Being produced and directed by the same team as Subaru Launch Control, I started to get involved on the CRC events and editing in 2013. Learned my way through the different roles, leading to being the on-site manager and director of the media team in 2019. No events were the same, either shooting at -30c in Maniwaki, Québec, or getting swormed by mosquitoes at Rally Baie-des-chaleurs, in New Richmond, Québec.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Lowa Canada - Ice climbing at night</image:title>
<image:caption>Director : Jordan Hamelin Production : Lowa Canada Cinematographer & drone operator : Anthony Cloutier This project was my second shoot for Lowa Canada and Jordan. After our first video project with Ben Chamberland in St-Alban, we saw the opportunity to shoot this place at night, using lights and generators. Jordan had the idea the night we were driving back from that first shoot. When we turned on the generators and we saw the wall went from pitch black to this mix of white, blue and green and we couldn’t believe it. It was by far one of my prettiest shoot location to see and experience.</image:caption>

<image:title>Projects - Asio Evo - Emotion</image:title>
<image:caption>Producer: Communications Gabrièle Roy I had the chance to create two clips for the emerging company, Asio Evo. They developed a light bar that has a built in gyrometer that adapt the light to match the movement of the car or ATV. They introduced this product in the Canadian Rally Championship, and it helped them to establish a proof of concept, helping Test Racing to win the driver and constructor championship for the past 2 years. The goal for the project was to create a commercial style, high intensity clip, that would grab the client attention. The client also wanted more of an explanatory version, being a fairly complicated product. Also most of the time alocated to shoot the clip was during the day, so we had to get creative to show how the light was acting.</image:caption>
